The "PROPERTIES" tab for old accounts had been replaced by "RACKETS" tab for new accounts. Rackets feature was actually given to the players who created a game for such a period of time as a test if it goes well, then it will be an option for everyone else.
From there, we've continued working to make the game more enjoyable that's why PROPERTIES feature is again available if you'll create a new account for Mafia Wars. So, if you want to have properties, then you could just create a new account but If you want to continue with the Rackets feature that you had, here are some steps below on how to do it:
On your RACKETS Page, you can use your criminal influence to do everything from intimidating shop owners to running a high-end escort service, and everything in between.
- To begin, choose one of your empty plots from your home turf and select a Racket to Shake Down there.
- When you have Shaken Down a racket, you will need to wait some time to collect the take.
- Once the racket is ready, be sure to return promptly and collect it. If you are too slow to return and collect your take, rival gangsters will ruin the operation.
- As your influence increases, you can run more difficult and higher-paying rackets.
- Every time you collect a take, you get your influence back and can then shake down more rackets.
- If you don't collect your racket in time, you will have to wait to regain your influence.
